Default RIP Jim Carroll

One of the lesser known voices of the Punk era, and an unique poet beyond that small part of rock and roll.

"It's too late, to fall in love with Sharon Tate. And it's too soon, to ask me for the words I want carved on my tomb." (It's too late)

Sure, some people know him through his song "People who died" and it is a great song as well. But people should seek out and listen to "Catholic Boy" in it's entirety. And ironically, I have never read nor seen "The Basketball Diaries." How odd. RIP Jim Carroll, and thanks to Patti Smith and The Newshour for hipping me to the death of a great early life companion.
