Time is both a friend and a cruel enemy. The garden gets plowed in this weekend. I still have half a dozen pepper plants that are producing heavily, which I will keep, but everything else is ready to go. Give it a couple of weeks, maybe mid-September, and the collard plants go in. Won't be long and the cool autumn breezes come to town (by cool I mean 70F

). Lettuce to follow in late September/early October.
Had lots of delicious tomatoes and cukes this year.
