Cooler: Don't know if it is the best but I have done business with
www.compactappliance.com and have been satisfied. Sometimes you can find a good one on Ebay. Only two models for standard drawers/shelves are Edgestar 28 bottle and Vinotemp 28 bottle, both are hard to find in stores these days but readily available online. I have an Edgestar and like it but probably more people use Vinotemps I think.
Humidity Beads i- Shilala on this site produces some very popular ones.
There are a lot of threads on here devoted to wine
cooler conversions just search them out and lots of good info on there. ChasDen has a ton of experience and knowledge on the topic.
