This project has been a year in the making and it's finally finished. Many talented people were involved. Not me...all I did was photograph this bike and create a webspace for it. Anyway, this new bike will be raffled off early nest month at the National Star Route convention in Milwaukee WI. It commorates the history of mail contracting from the beginning of the Pony Express up to the present day. 96 CI or 1584 cc of Harley power.
As you look thru the photos you'll see the theme depicting mail delivery history. A lot of work went into this creation and photos just do not do it justice. I thought some here might enjoy these pictures.
Factoid...Did you know there is still a mail delivery made by pack mule? Yes, in rural Arizona to an Indian Reservation.
