I'd put $1500 in the ballpark for what Ive seen them going for, but prices are high and fluctuate a lot on all guns lately.

I built mine from guides on AR15.com. It is a pretty simple deal. I will give you one tip. When putting in the roll pins use tape around where they go in to keep from messing up the finish on it. It took me about a half hour to put my first on together, and about half that the second time.
Check out JT Distributors for parts and uppers. I have a Doublestar lower as well as a Spikes Lower they are both very good. The last I checked AIM had the Doublestars at around $105ish, but that has been a while but after the election. Also check out Brownells and Midway USA. If you are going to order a bunch of parts get your C&R FFL it will get you discounts at a lot of places, and was only $30 when I got mine.
