About 6-8"+ here in Richmond, been without power since last night around 8, might not get restored for a few days they say. Fortunately that gas log insert we got works well enough to heat most of the house. Came in to work for a bit this morning, will post some pictures later.
Forgot to mention the coolest thing: last night we gathered around the fireplace & cranked up our Red Cross emergency radio, just for kicks. I've never used a shortwave, and we were having a blast picking up stations in Serbia, Radio China International, Tokyo, WRNO, and
Radio Havana!
