It will get smoother with use, but not lighter, nature of the beast. However, these guns are typically very reliable, and accurate enough for defense work or casual use. Since it fits holsters made for the M&P, it might even get carried on lousy weather days.

for sure not the prettiest but functional and affordable. Can't go wrong when the price is right.
