Haven’t been on for quite a while, but I just missed you guys too much…
… or I just wanted to show off the start of my recently acquired hobby:
My father in law dropped by this weekend and gifted me one of his pipes (he quit pipes quite some time ago, only smokes cigars now) and some left-over Erinmore Flake tobacco as I recently mentioned I would like to try pipes someday. It’s a Peterson 307 system pipe (not the best for beginners apparently, but it will have to do
):
Had my local retailer repolish the pipe and picked up some Mac Baren Original Choice to get me started. The pipe looks brand new now:
Seeing how I started out when smoking cigars (a lot of hoarding and such), my wife probably likes her father a bit less since last weekend. And I (of course) have a lot of reading, buying and trying to do
