I was born and live here in Tampa and yes that guy that said only come in the day time is correct. Unless you are big time into clubs and dancing. Otherwise a day trip is way better and Tampa Sweethearts is the place to stop by. I will say it has gotten better in the few years as they are trying to improve the safety down there.
