Are you required to test, then assign only one handgun to your CCW, or does your CCW allow you to carry any handgun under the permit? If you don't already have a favorite handgun in your collection. I suggest you find a store that will allow you to handle and shoot as many makes and models as possible to find the right fit. I personally enjoy the XD9, Glock 17 or 19, and the 1911 is awesome for home defense (just a fun model IMO). But each gun feels different to each person. However, I am interested to hear Remo's response has this is in his wheelhouse... Regardless, good luck bud and let us know your selection.
