No ****. Ya gotta start checking around. Ask nicely and discretely about home/private courses in your area. As a fellow local course ownwer says, " Its a little bit of love in someonesback yard." Size and quality will vary just as it does on public courses, but in general private courses are more fun and more challenging. One of our local private courses is on land the guy lives on and rents. He couln't afford to outfit a course with baskets so friends pitched in and "loaned" him 18 baskets to be used on the "temp" course and go back to the donater if/when the course is closed.
