Had a couple of those critters years ago. Now EVERYTHING that comes my way, into my house for storage, gets the freezer treatment, no matter the source. It only takes a little time but gives me peace of mind that only a mother's cuddle could otherwise provide.

My recipe: Totally sealed bags. Into the deep freezer at -10F. 3 full days later into the frig for a couple of hours. Open, smell, smile, then back into the cooler or humi. Have never had a problem with said beetles since and have never damaged a cigar.
