I, too, am new to this forum, but I do have some suggestions for you based upon my limited experience. You say you smoke the cigar with your morning coffee. It has been my experience that when reviewing a cigar you try to be unbiased about its flavor by drinking something that either doesn't impart its own flavor or clears your palate for the next puff. Coffee does neither of these things. "The construction was so so". What about it? Did the wrapper split? Did the cap peel off? Did it explode?(because I don't think you can still get those!) What about the flavor was harsh? Many times reviewers will split their review of the cigar into thirds(first third, second third, etc.). Was it bitter, spicy, leathery, sweet, citrusy(sp?), nutty? The "review" was very brief, not very informative and poorly typed. However, kudos to you for offering a review after having been here a month and with like 12 posts to boot. Don't give up! Just read others blogs and pay attention to how they review, and whether or not it helped you understand their view of the cigar. Often times when our palate is developing, it's hard to put into words the flavors we are experiencing, and thats ok. Thank you for the review and I look forward to reading your next as you grow in your knowledge of this fine hobby of ours.
