I don't think I would use this as a precedence. one will only lose money on guns they
chose to sell for less than paid(yes I have done it). It sounds like said buyer had talking(buying) skills, you paid too much in the first place or you were trying to sell/trade it to a gun shop. Buy right, sell right or hold 'em.
