I had a vaquero once. It isn't the same model as what I am looking at now.
I really liked it but a couple of things really bugged me about it.
#1. is that it's not made strong enough to handle the hot loads that use to be shot in the older vaqueros.
#2. They do not hold their value at all. I had the gun for about a year, never shot it. I think I paid $575-$625 for it brand new. When I went to sell it, all the more I could get out of it was $475-$500 even though it was BRAND NEW.
I was told there just isn't a market for them anymore. People are looking to buy semi autos more now.
If I bought this one, I would likely shoot it and hang onto this one though. This one has a flatter hammer. I really like the feel of the vaqueros.
