Yes and No, Techinically it is is a macbook. In late 2008/early 2009 they realeased the macbook aluminum unibody. They soon switched back to the white macbooks and moved the 13 inch aluminum macbooks into the macbook pro line. So I guess you could say it is a first gen 13 inch macbook pro.....
