I know you guys like messing with me, but something has got to give. Batting #2 and not even being able to get on base since his stint on the DL is just plain awful. Votto has the MVP in his favor with Kemp out for so long, but when Bruce leads the team in RBI because Votto bats with the bases empty, it has to be frustrating to him.
Unfortunately, their lineup is so jacked with Rolen out/not doing anything. Ideally they have to change the top end, but they need Phillips to protect Votto.
If it is my team, the lineup looks something like this:
Phillips
Hannigan/Mesoraco
Votto
Bruce
Ludwick
Frazier
Cozart
Heisey/Stubbs
Pitcher
But for some reason, Dusty has to play Stubbs everyday and in the 1 or 2 hole.
Just makes games like last night tough to watch.
