Race #1 of the season done yesteday. I cut my overall time down by over 2 minutes, despite having a run that was 2 min slower than last year's race. I'm pleased, yet disappointed, with the slower run time. Gotta adjust my training, so I have more left in the tank at the end. Next up will be the half ironman that I did last year. Need to really start stretching out the lengths of the training now.
Yesterday was also my wife's first triathlon. Despite hating the swim (choppy water, and tons of weeds), she loved it, and is looking forward to doing her next (another sprint) at the venue I'm doing my half at.
I may have created a monster! LOL
Anyone else have anything coming up?
