I've been meaning to post pics of a really nice humidor I won in a raffle drawing last fall and I've finally gotten around to it. My wife and I attended a cigar event at Sidtrack Tobacco (
Home Page or
Event Page ) in Bristol, VA. Everything about it was great; the BBQ, the live music, the cool weather, the excellent people! The family that owns and runs this shop have always been great to us. And of course winning this humidor in a raffle was a nice cap to the evening.
I hadn't smoked a Buena Vista cigar before the event but the two I smoked that night were pleasant enough. I was told this humidor was a bit expensive and maybe a limited edition but I haven't found anything online about it. There is a badge mounted inside the lid that says "083 200" so I suppose that's the number of the humidor, 83 of 200. Anyone seen one of these before? I rough-guess it to be about a 75 count since one section (movable dividers, not fixed in place) holds a full 25 count box of those 5 Vegas classic coronas. Anyway, on with the pics.
