After seeing all the German Shepherds and English Bulldogs posted here, I hate the owners. I can't have a GS where we live, and English Bulldogs all cost $2,500 here.
My Husky. We got him from a no kill shelter. He's 9, had been chained to a tree for 8 years. He and his brother were given to the Shelter. His brother was immediately adopted, where as my Future Dog sat for 5 months. I've never seen such a depressed Dog in all my life. Think those ASPCA commercials. When we went to see him he was laying on his side and wouldn't get up for anything. We kept calling for him from behind the fence, but he didn't care. Seeing that, knowing his age, we shelled out $300 happily to give him a loving home. The first 2-3 months he didn't trust us, and was depressed. Ever since, he's changed completely... and now thinks that he owns the place haha.
