It's a pretty good flick -- a little slow in parts. Gyllenhal has good chemistry with Anne Hatheway and you get to see A LOT of Anne (
)).
You are right -- quite the spectrum of emotions there and the ending is predictable but worth the ride. And there are some pretty good funny moments as well.
