But he then proceeds to make a comment about how his new cigars coming out will be packaged in "book" style boxes... Pete and George have a good laugh about it and even joke about "where that idea came from". I guess I'm in the minority here, but it just rubs me the wrong way. And this is just one example. People shouldn't try to mimic havanas in DR or Nic or Hond., whether it's blends or packaging. Again, this is just my little old opinion and I have nothing agaisnt Pete. I think it would be cool to hang out with him and smoke a cigar or two.

I see your point, I understood his perspective as paying respect to his inspiration. I don't think he is keeping any secrets about his passion for old CC style cigars or their packaging. He is not claiming to be the originator of these concepts and he even gave credit to somebody else in this video for making a cigar similar in concept to the Vertite before him. I don't know, I have enjoyed many of his cigars and to me that is the most important thing. I would be interested in spending a day with Pete to hear him speak his mind without censoring himself. I didn't wanna argue about this, I respect your opinion as I am sure it is more developed than mine. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me.
