Georgetown has played a lot better than was expected from this young squad. Good for them. I'll be interested to see how they continue once Big East games begin in earnest.

The Commodores have perhaps been the biggest disappointment to the "experts" so far this year, but this was definitely a great win for them, especially on the road, and by such a large margin. But the biggest shock of the night was that double-OT win by Rutgers over the Gators.

I'm too busy, or maybe too lazy, to do a full update today. If I'm not too slammed tomorrow . . . and why would a liquor store be busy on New Year's Eve? . . . I'll play a little catch-up Saturday, or at the latest Monday. Until then then, enjoy.
