"AJ decided to have a little fun, using his crowd-pleasing La Herencia Cubana brand as a vehicle for complex flavors that evolve throughout the entire burn. This Dos Capas Toro is a limited production blend, made with the original La Herencia Cubana blend as a base. However, each carefully crafted, 6"x52 vitola sports two exquisite wrappers in barber-pole fashion. First, a dark and leathery Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper....one that's feisty and hearty in nature. Second, an even darker Pennsylvania Broadleaf Maduro....a thick and oily leaf loaded with chewy, rich nuances. The smoke is suprisingly mellow in nature, offering a medium-bodied bouquet with a variety of exciting flavors. Hearty tobacco flavors mingle with rich and chewy hints of cedar and toast, followed by a peppery-sweet finish with each puff. Some Dos Capas are pretty to look at. This one is no doubt pretty, but has the added advantage of being delicious, too."
