When you spend the money to have someone put you in a heated house that's sitting right on top of a bunch of fish, it pays to have good gear. If I go ice fishing most other times I might as well use a 2x4 and some nylon rope. And it's not just an excuse to drink a metric crap ton of booze, it's also a perfectly good excuse to smoke a bunch of stogies.
