My point being, if it wasn't super fresh (even a couple months could be considered "too old"), there's your problem. Hop aroma and flavor fade so quickly at that level, its best to drink super fresh. That's the appeal of this beer, the huge hope aroma and flavor (and the dry finish, to me anyway), so if its old and lacking that, then yes the appeal suffers.

It was brand new stock. Tasted very similar to New Belgium Ranger IPA to me. IDK. Maybe I was just expecting too much. Same thing goes for In n out burger. After all the build up, it is just a cheeseburger.
