Mixed and Short filler are basically the same, small pieces of leaf including stem pieces.
Medium filler is a term used by some manufacturers to describe short filler without the stem bits. Often these are trimmings from premium tobacco leftover from the manufacturing process. Private Stock Medium Filler is a cigar from Tabadom that uses trimmings from much more expensive cigars made in the same factory. According to them anyway.
