The Yankees are well on their way to an 80 year championship misery. When was the last time they won the series again? Please remind me.

Also, the fact that the Patriots are in playoff contention shows what a GREAT team they are. There are only 2 or 3 other teams in the NFL that have fielded more starters this year than the Pats. They've lost their entire starting offensive backfield and have started games with less than half of their starters on defense plus several backups on offense and defense have been lost. To have overcome that many injuries shows what a superior job the Pats have done this year.
