They're real tame, Mac. If there's a full bodied mild cigar, this would be it, IMO. I think you're right on target. They have their own profile, though. They're not like JJ whites, who are also good. Problem with the whites is whenever I smoke one I keep thinking "wow, this would be really good with a maduro wrapper". Duh.
I do get a spice, but it's mixed in the flavors rather than kicking your face. That's why it's so good, it's got great balance. Plus it's got lots of flavors that meld and switch places. Try some old blues, or some of the big blues, and I think you'll get it. I have a new box of imperials coming and I think I have some old robustos left, drop me a line and I'll hook a brother up.
