My wife has an iPad and I have a Kindle. Neither of us would recommend using the iPad as a reader unless you are only reading indoors.
The iPad is great for alot of things but the display sucks outside in the sunlight... I can read on the Kindle anywhere and it is a fraction of the price of an iPad... Just my
