You need to calibrate your hygrometer. Two ways to do that.
1) Boveda pack and test your hygro with that. http://www.bovedapacks.com/

With the analog you can just make a note of how far off the hygro is reading, most prefer to go digital sooner or later. |
Thanks I need to order some digitals as soon as I have some money.
Also I removed a clear plastic ring around the hygrometer that came with my larger humi, anybody know if that was the correct thing to do?
It looked to me like it was just for shipping, but couldn't find any instruction saying to remove it.
