I don't know if this has been addressed in another thread yet, but the analog hygrometers that come with most desktops are notorious for being inaccurate.

You need to calibrate your hygrometer. Two ways to do that.
1) Boveda pack and test your hygro with that. http://www.bovedapacks.com/
2) Salt test such as http://www.cigarasylum.com/vb/showth...highlight=salt

With the analog you can just make a note of how far off the hygro is reading, most prefer to go digital sooner or later.
