Cus.. they fill our schedules with all the hard classes early, then our Senior year, fill the gaps with Senior Design (which utilizes the skills from the hard courses), then fill the gaps with the electives to fill our 'required' crap that the university mandates.
Done... and as for grades... well, they are what they are.
I don't see many engineers brag about their grades
I just see them bragging that they passed.
