Default Re: Cigars in Cinema

Witness for the Prosecution (1957) Charles Laughton as the aging English lawyer who returns home after recovering from a heart attack accompanied by his overly protective nurse. The films interplay with his fondness for cigars, how he smokes them, mooches them, caught with 3 cigars hidden in his cane, and even a bet on a 'small box" of them should bring a smile to any BOTL face.

In glorious black & white and with an incredible cast it's a hoot to watch as Laugnton smokes a cigar as he ponders taking a case while all of the time his nurse is locked outside his study.
