Years ago I went to England with an former girlfriend and we spent a few days with a friend of hers in Bath.
The clothes washer was in the kitchen simlar to above, the dryer was in the Harry Potter closet under the stairs (she would run a vent hose out the front door when she used it) and the bath room lived up to the town's name and only had a bathtub with no shower attachment.
I remember looking at the tub trying to figure out what the hell to do with myself in the morning, I finally just stuck my head in the sink
