Speakin of the older Sherry finished Macallans it´s more a "yes" for me than for the "Fine Oak" stuff.

But it´s definetly a fact that Macallan is price-wise Rolls Royce... so, had to say, if it´s really worth the buck... Maybe you should try to find older bottling from Independent bottlers.
