caibaguan maduro 46 - big smoke taste in a small package
I picked up a box of these a couple of weeks ago with the intention of letting them rest.
Well after two weeks I made the mistake of opening the box to take a peek and could resist no mpre - I had to light one up.
All I can say is that Don Pepin is a friggin genius, I was already a DPG fan but this little smoke shot right to the my list of favorites next to the My Father line.
I usually don't go for anything under 49-50 ring gauge but this little 46 smokes like a Churchill.
Billows of thick, tasty smoke with just enough spice to let you know it's a Pepin without any bitterness.
I know my problems with thinner smokes is that I smoke too fast which leads corona-sized cigars to get hot and bitter.
Not here, the draw was spot on and the burn was perfect (even smoking outside on a blustery night).
