Re: 601 Blue Question

Eddie isn't definitive here either, but he says he wants to change the red. Being who he is, I assume he got or will get what he wants. I agree...

Re: 601 Blue Question

Rocky changed the blend on the red a little - the blue is unchanged.

Edit - I know you were asking for those that have smoked the new ones. I haven't yet. My post was in response to the one...

Re: Sore throat-what do you turn to?

Hot tottie - tea, whiskey and honey. It can work wonders, and if you have a few (or 6) and have a heavy pour like me, get you drunk. Your throat will either feel better, or you'll forget about it. ...

Re: cigars and root beer

+1. Diet IBC is my go-to non-alcoholic drink with a cigar. I prefer booze, but when it is a morning or afternoon smoke, root beer is great.

Re: Steel Cut Oats

They sell plastic liners for crockpots that seem to work fine. I've never had any adverse effects and you just pick it out and throw it away when done.

Re: Do you puff when lighting cigars

+1, except I don't always do the purge after I make sure the entire foot is lit.

Re: Big Discount off Gift Card @ Restaurant.com

I just checked it out - a $100 card requires a minimum purchase of $200 at the restaurants I looked at, so you still have to shell out some pretty good dough. It could be great if you were picking...

Re: K Cup recommendations

Bed Bath and Beyond is great and you can use 20% off coupons that they incessantly send in the mail. You can get them for less than .50 cents a cup with the coupons.

Re: What's the last movie you watched?

The Other Guys - I had no expectations and I thought it was hilarious. Lines kept popping into my head today and making me laugh.

Re: someone had a great christmas at my expense

I had this happen this summer with a credit card. They made a copy of it. And the purchases were at shoe stores. I don't know what it is about thiefs and athletic gear, but they seem to love it. ...

Re: 601's New Bands

I don't like the new band either, but I sure would like to see one in a store around here. I can't find them anywhere.

Re: What is your favorite Scotch Whisky

Oh my! I'm slightly aroused. If you like the Talisker 10, see if you can find the Talkiser Distillers Edition. I'm told they discontinued it, but my wife bought me a bottle for Christmas and it is...

Re: Favorite time of day to enjoy a cigar

After dinner is my favorite. A great way to end a day and relax. I rarely smoke in the morning unless I'm on vacation.

Re: Fresh start with Scotch/Whiskey and single malt

I don't have much experience with web sites, as most of my experience has come from just sampling what friends have or trying different stuff at bars, etc. I think that's the best way to do it...

Re: Did you get any cigar related holiday gifts?

My wife got me a box of Cubao maduros. My sister-in-law got me a box of padron 3000 maduros. And my sisters got me a box of Brazilias. I consider that a pretty good haul - and I'm pretty well...

Re: Favre's Streak Ends at 297

I heard on the radio this morning that he might start and make a few handoffs before giving way to his backup to preserve his streak - I give him credit that he didn't pull that.

Re: Real or Fake- Christmas Trees that is
