Re: Small Vinotemp-ish desktops?

I have been using the Haier 6 bottle wine cooler for nearly two years. It's quiet and it has never failed. Maybe too small for you? Anyway, I have room for two small humidors inside and capacity for...

Re: Rock/Metal Singers With Great Voices

Looks like everybody has been covered. My picks would be:

Steve Winwood (Traffic & solo work)
Ann & Nancy Wilson (Heart)
Brad Delp (Boston)
Steve Perry (Journey)
Jon Anderson (Yes)

Re: It's snowing in Dallas

This weather is weird. While the south was getting snow, we had over 1 inch of rain in SW Wisconsin. This just doesn't happen in late December. We dodged a huge bullet though with the temp hovering...

Re: 65% or 70%.... which is better

I like to keep mine at 67.3256 rh. Just kidding.:D Truthfully, I'm totally okay with anything between 65 and 70 which is where it usually is. Why? I have fluctuating beads, I think. I have more...

Crossroads guitar duel...

I remember this movie from 1986, and the guitar duel just happens to be on youtube like everything is these days. I know, it's a movie, but the men behind the clip are superb players. Steven Via and...

Re: Wristwatch collectors out there?

Re: Thursday I was voted to become a Shriner

They have the coolest meeting lodges too. At least the one here was. Filled with big padded chairs and low lights. Like stepping into a Bogart movie. They invited me every year to a Christmas party,...

Re: Thursday I was voted to become a Shriner

Super congratulations from me Darrell. I spent the better part of the 1960's at Shriners Hospital in Minneapolis, and I'm extremely grateful for all they have done for me. I will be forever in their...

Re: 601 Green Label Question...

Thanks guys. One thing I've noticed over the years that even though a cigar has the same tobacco, different sizes sometimes changes the character.

601 Green Label Question...

I've been smoking the 601 green 5 1/2 x 54 La Fuerza which I like very much. I'm about to place another order and I see at the vendor of my choice, the larger 6 1/2 x 58 Trabuco is less money per...

Re: Lighters other than a PB-207?

I've been using a Porsche Design PD4 which I picked up new off ebay for not a lot of money. It's typical Porsche quality and works perfectly all the time. It'a on of the larger ones so it has more...

Re: Wristwatch collectors out there?

Alright, I can see that some of you guys are way bigger than me. 53mm would look pretty silly on my small wrist. Here's my biggest watch at 37mm. A Bvlgari Solotempo.

Re: Pink Floyd reunion

Pink Floyd is great, but never seeing them live is like only having watched fireworks on television. The feel, power, thunder and visual has to be seen and felt in person. One of the best outdoor...

Re: What kind of cutter/punch do you use?

I've used just about everything that can be used to cut a cigar, but I now use the Xikar multi-tool and never looked back. It's a fine tool.
