Re: Purging "enhancement"
It's totally just the cool show it puts on for me, plus the loose pieces of ash that inevitably end up on my lap when I do it. But it really does kind of look like a jet engine now that you mention...

Re: 601 Blue Rob -or- Tatuaje Noella
Can't go wrong there. I smoke through 601s like they're going out of style lately, but I just had a noella that was outstanding. My vote is for the 601s though.

Re: Is 62% OK
62% isn't too low if you like how they smoke at that level. If you don't, I believe the beads eventually need to be re-charged.

Re: Rangers VS Tigers
I definitely thought Washington managed like he had a 3-1 lead, which may have been the right way to do it. Both bullpens have been taxed and I can't blame him for thinking he has 2 home games to...

Re: Rangers VS Tigers
Rangers are just looking like a better team right now. That lineup doesn't have a lot of holes in it and it's making all the difference. It sure would be nice to have a healthy Bosch and Young out...

Re: Any Hawaiian Shirt lovers out there?
I gotta be honest, I rock the Tommy Bahamma solid-color, non-paterned shirts all summer long. I don't know if they qualify as Hawaiian, but if so, they're awesome. Comfortable as hell and they...

Re: Rangers VS Tigers
No offense intended, but that is not realistically the likely outcome. Detroit has seen professional championships for the Pistons and Red Wings in the last decade and there has been no looting, nor...

Re: Getting old, getting cold
68 in the summer and 65 in the winter. It usually takes a day or two to get used to the 65, but then it feels fine. I used to turn it down more during the day, but we got a dog last year, so I...

Re: Apple Announces iPhone 4S
I'm buying one - I don't have an Iphone at the moment and think the 4 is pretty cool. I might as well get the amped up version. I figure if they called this thing a 5 everyone would be raving about...

Re: All-Inclusive resorts
Check out the Moon Palace in the Mayan Riviera in Mexico. Of course, I was on my parents' dime when I went there about 8 years ago, so I can't say whether it was reasonable or not.

Re: Sam Adams Oktoberfest
I agree as to just about everything you said, except I thought the bonfire stuff was just bad - not awful. It really does taste like campfire smoke. I'm going to stock up on a few more cases of...

Re: Detroit Lions
Stanton sucks, Hill's decent, and we're in trouble if we lose Stafford. No way Hill or Stanton hits Calvin with that pass to set up the winning field goal. Although that makes us not unlike most...

I had a couple yesterday and was unimpressed. It struck me as really light-bodied, which is not what I was expecting or in the mood for.

Re: Too much stress smokes?
Agreed. Don't have a cigar to relieve stress - have one because you want to have a cigar. You'll enjoy it then. Hang in there.

Padron 3000 maduro without fail. Others in my regular rotation include partagas black, tatuaje regios, brazilias, cubao (natural and maduro) and padilla 1932s, but I move through boxes of the...

Re: "In the Big House" U of M Football
I have to be honest, perhaps it makes me an old geezer at the ripe old age of 29, but I hate that song. I'd rather hear the Victors. I was not at the game though.

Re: Cigar Shops in Cabo San Lucas...
I think the sign says "J&J Habanos". It's on a side street. It is a nice little store. They have a big walk in and all kinds of tequila for sipping. Definitely worth a visit.

Re: Hummmmm??
I had to wear one during the Detroit Piston's playoff run a couple years ago when they were good. I had to make notes about watching the game so they wouldn't think my regular heart rate was 140+.
