This is all pretty subjective. It depends on a lot of varibles such as how wet the blend is that you normally smoke, how much saliva gets down the pipe while you're smoking, time between smokes,...

If you smoke it that often then you may want to look into the Salt Cleaning Technique as you may have to do this more often than normal. This helps prevent a pipe from going sour or turning a sour...

If you have access to any Prince Albert Choice Blend it would mix and taste a lot better than the regular PA. It has a cleaner taste to it that would lend itself well to the Virginia.

Troy,

Take some really light grit sandpaper and wrap it around your finger and then rub it around in there. Only do this enough to take off the coating. You definitely don't want to get too wild...
