Re: Looking to put together a baccy cellar...need input

Since this thread has been ressurrected I have developed a very favorable outlook on the recently re-introduced Dunhill Flake, formerly known as Light Flake. It is very good and will probably...

Re: Flake tobaccos ???

Dag... there are a lot of flake tobaccos. That's like asking which is your favorite piece of pepperoni on the last 50 pizzas I ate. Fortunately, a few (dozen) stand out.

Re: New Pipe

Looks great! Always check the airway size on a meer, is my lame advice. You want to hear "4mm" which means a pipecleaner will pass and the draw is open enough to reduce moisture pile-ups.

There...

Re: Got some pipes.

Wipe the rims clean with paper towels/spit.

Gently unscrew the stems; if they don't come out pretty easily, do not force anything - it's easy to snap a shank or stem on an old dry pipe. ...

Re: Hookah

+1 if possible.

Entirely different experience from a pipe. More a flavored vapor than hard particulate smoke, it needs a deep inhale to get to the heart of the deal. Not a bad thing, just not...

Re: Looking to put together a baccy cellar...need input

Not sure that aging english blends is worth the bother. While it all depends on the blend and your taste, I find most stay the same or, more often, lose some of the condiment edge that keeps them...
