Re: Need some help - Part II

Re: BBQ Grill Coffee Roaster
How is this bad boy constructed? This sounds like a good upgrade for me from heat gun / dog bowl roasting.

Re: Popcorn Popper Coffee Roasting
I started with the popcorn popper method, but quickly moved on. I use the heat gun/dog bowl method now. Easy, more control over the roast, very little extra equipment needed. Needs to be done...

Re: What is a very good Espresso machine

Re: Looking for a Coffee Roaster

Great control over the roast, I do one to two cups of green at a...

Re: Smoking Technique
Train yourself with MILD cigars... if you start with stronger ones before you learn to modulate the amount of smoke you won't have a very pleasant experience. Once you get the hang of it, it's a...

I think they have different capacities and different collection pots (some are thermos type). I haven't heard of any performing poorly.

Re: I'd like to try something really different.
Get some whole bean coffee within a few days of it being roasted, and brew it in a French press or with a pour-over type drip brewer. Fresh coffee + proper water temperature = something very...

Re: Refining Your Palate
I'm in the camp of blowing some smoke out your nose with every draw. The difference in what you get out of the smoke is huge. It does require practice to learn to do and to regulate the amount of...

Re: Old Henry Robusto
The one of these that I tried had so much firey spice that even a tiny nose exhale was painful. The spiciness was even too much for the mouth flavor. I hoped that it would just be an initial burst...

Re: This "Only GRINDERS" thread is not for you if.
