Re: Cigar band desktop humi project......

It's obviously a fake. The Habanos sticker is on the wrong corner! :D

Excellent job! I'd follow Lee's advice concerning the varnish to protect the bands.

Re: Games thread!

I've been loving LBP, Jim! At first I thought it was a kiddie game, but I've gotten addicted to it. I seem to alternate between it, RockBand 2, and GH World Tour. I see that CoD: WaW is on sale for...

Re: Wii or ps3

1. How old is your son?

The Wii is better suited for youger players. Not that adults can't have a blast with it as well, just that the PS3 doesn't have many good games for pre-teens.

2. Do you...

Re: Anyone here have experience with RAID

You can't create a RAID 5 with less than 3 disks. A 2 disk RAID 5 would essentially be RAID 0... Striped with no parity. I think your only option is to backup the data somewhere else, or get a 4th...

Re: Anyone use the MagicJack?

My Dad has been using one for a couple months, and he seems to like it a lot. It must be easy to setup and use as well, because he's not a techy person and he's had no trouble with it. :)

Re: Any jeep owners?

I have a 95 cherokee. 4.5" lift and 32" tires. I love it, and I agree with the other comments about it going anywhere. :)

Re: Lets See Your Hunting Rifles

It just seemed like the right thing to do? I don't know really. I guess I didn't want to spend the money on another rear iron sight to cowitness through the aimpoint. The little rail on the carry...

Re: Any ECHL fans at the Asylum?

I used to go see the Greenville Grrrowl a good bit, but we lost them. Not enough hockey supporters in this area I guess. :(

Re: AR Optics

I have an Aimpoint clone on mine (money IS an object for me :)), but it has no magnification. Just a 5 MoA glowing, floating, red dot. If you don't know about "MoA"... simply put, at 100 yards the...

I'm disappointed... nobody is posting pictures. So I'll get it started. Here's my.. *ahem*... hunting rifle. (My prey of choice is paper... with an occasional milk jug thrown in... some filled with...

Re: Games thread!

I picked up Pure and Baja for the PS3 from Amazon today... $20 each. Both games have mediocre reviews, but I couldn't pass them up at that price.

Re: Go Gamecocks!!!!!

You know... here's the thing. Clemson has played horribly this year. If they get beat, it'll just be chalked up as an off-year for them... changing coaches and everything. But if they happen to...

Re: What was the last cigar that WOWED you?

I had a '98 Partagas Tres Petit Corona on Saturday that totally blew me away! I think it was better than the 898v's from the same year.

Re: Assault Rifle Ban

It is my opinion that this is the key fault in the thinking of the anti-gunners. A law that says it's illegal to own a machine gun has no effect on one who ignores the law. The same goes for illegal...
