@Mark, I'll check them out this morning, thanks. Seems Cigars rule the day there which is fine but I'd love to poke around for a tin or two of something nice.

@Joe, I've seen the 8 story tall...

Has anyone been, is there a decent selection?

Reviews mention cigars and "other" smoking accessories but fail to touch on it's namesake wares.

Re: Whats in your bowl?

Give McC Bombay Extra as well as Samovar a shot. Both Excellent!

Enjoyed a bowl of The Virginia Cream driving home form work earlier. I really enjoy this as a change of pace considering I'm not...

Re: Whats in your bowl?

Sorry Pete, I missed your question for some reason. #14 is a solid medium strength blend, with (obviously) very prominant Oriental sourness. It's got body though which a lot of Oriental blends don't...

Re: Whats in your bowl?

109 Mark? You won't have to carry a lighter if that keeps up, just grab a chunk of brimstone off the ground.

Finished the last of the McC Oriental 14 this morning. Amazing stuff.

On that note,...

Re: Pipe and Tobacco Shops

Send us a report on the shop if you can. I pass through Winchester several times a year to camp and take care of some property out in the hills. I always mean to stop in but I'm usually smelly and...

Re: Pipe and Tobacco Shops

There is a "smoke shop" in Berkley Springs though I was disappointed last year as I didn't need Acid cigars or a new bong. There were a few house bulk blends that are blended by the owner but I...

Re: Rattray's Wallace Flake

It's not a full on aromatic, I'd say it's less aromatic than Frog's Cellar. Definitely worth a try.

Rattray's Wallace Flake

My normal rotation has a noticeable lack of aromatic blends but there are a few out there I do enjoy. Having been a fan of Pete’s Uni Flake I was excited to take Wallace Flake out for a spin as TR...

Re: Whats in your bowl?

3 Nuns in an estate squat bulldog. The nomenclature on the pipe says Lord Abbott but I haven't had much luck finding anything else. It's banged and chipped past any point of rehab but it smokes so...

Re: Latest Pipe-Related Purchase Thread

That's Pete's cob but I'm strictly no-filter in all my pipes. I'm considering trying out the savinelli's wood filters just out of curiosity though, the trick will be remembering to take it out after...
