It's been asked alot. The way I look at it is with the cello on there's more protection. The humidity will be just fine with it on or off. It could also be a visual cue of age. The cello with start...

Well it's kind of an odd situation I went to a friend of mine who does custom furniture for some help and he ended up taking over the project. I will ask him around what he would charge for something...
