Not exactly, I licked the whole stick, let my wife taste it, thought "this is very odd", lit it, smoked an inch or two, thought about chapstick, and then threw it out.

This was absolutely not under any circumstances a natural occuring flavor in the leaf, it wasn't slightly sweet, it was so sweet and cloying that it prompted me to lick the whole darn thing to see...

So you missed the part where there were less than 3 minutes to go LSU defense was exhausted their offense had the ball and they threw on all 3 downs ensuring Clemson had plenty of timeouts to beat...
