Re: CC's or NC's?

Any vendor who would ship to such a "shady" customer is shady by association.

Re: Liga Privada Unico Serie L40

A couple of classic posts right there.

thanks for pointing this out. I've been reading the thread from the beginning, I must've forgotten that.

While I don't think it is a far cry to think...

Re: Liga Privada Unico Serie L40

I believe the LP9 Brooks smoked was 6 years old, so you're halfway there. There probably aren't many NCs that can age a further 6 years after release.

Brooks also thought the EPC EI 2009 went...

Re: Interesting Covers of Classic Hits

I love me some Phil Lynott. (Emerald is still one of my favorite songs - especially the live version). No pretty video, but I found the sound on this version better and some good audience...

Re: Viaje Skull and Bones

Thanks for the S&B Release info. I no longer keep track of what they're releasing and have gotten a few in trades, etc. and was wondering what I have. This info is golden.

Might have to fire up a...

Re: Humidor Question re: rubbing alcohol

I freeze everything that comes in (unless I'm planning on smoking it within a month, in which case it goes into a separate humi). Just wondering if I need to be freezing my boxes too.

Re: Humidor Question re: rubbing alcohol

Any chance there might be some eggs laying around? Does the rubbing alcohol kill them?

Re: La Flor Dominicana and Litto Gomez love

Just had the LFD Factory Press II (I let my buddy smoke the OR), and my opinion is these are over their peak. It was still smokable, but didn't get good until the 1/2 way point. If you have them,...

Re: Dirty Rat Wrapper

Just the difference in age of the two smokes should make enough of a difference to notice. How much is due to the wrapper would be hard to tell.

Re: Liga Privada Feral Flying Pig

I preferred the L40 I had last night to the FFP I smoked on Sunday. It even went better with root beer. But they are both excellent sticks IMO.

Re: La Flor Dominicana and Litto Gomez love

I was on a Litto kick last week and I was going to finish it up with an OR LFD Factory Press, but my smoking buddy cancelled at the last minute so I decided to save it for later. Any word on how...

Re: Liga Privada Feral Flying Pig

I smoked my first today and it couldn't have started out much worse. The cap tried to unravel but a little saliva held it in place. It seemed a little too wet and went out after about a quarter of an...

Re: Spiders tried to eat my face.

The spider could have gotten rolled up into the stogie and spun the web after it was already inside. It would have been much harder for a roller to notice that.

Anyone ever hear the estimate of...

Re: Litto Gomez Cubano

Smoked a 2008 for lunch today. Very nice cherry flavors stood out among the more typical leather and earth. Kept wanting to tunnel on me, so it took some attention to keep burning well. A day in the...

Re: Liga Privada Feral Flying Pig

Just arrived in the mail last night. Doesn't anybody allow new sticks to stabilize before firing one up? With only 3 sticks in my possession, and plenty of other sticks to try, I think I'll wait

Re: LFD Airbender

I agree, I just smoked my last OR corona for lunch. It had that nice, ripe raisin aroma I associate with LGD and Opus, something I hadn't noticed in them before. A little burn in the retrohale makes...

Thanks, I've had my eye out for an Opus Shark, but now I'll just fire up a Super Beli (may have to get some more, though, lol).

I thought he was serious, but then I just dismissed it as he didn't know what he was talking about. Something that I've been doing more and more lately.

Re: Liga Privada Feral Flying Pig

I picked up 3, from the sounds of it I should smoke one right away, but I almost always sit on them for a month or more.

Re: Show your latest NC purchase II!

Well, with a recommendation like that (and Brooks previous comment) and all the other good things I've heard about these, I' going to have to pick some of these up. But until then, I've got this EPC...

Re: Liga Privada T52 New vs. Old? Are There Different Ones?

The latest batch has a darker wrapper, and may be a little bit tastier.
