Re: Calibration of a Hygrometer...would this work

I should step back to make sure that did not come off as fishing as that was not my intention. :D I only use it for misc singles or cigars I plan to give to the troops, it is my original desktop that...

Re: Calibration of a Hygrometer...would this work

No worries - hydrometer, hygrometer what's the difference anyway.

I actually thought he could have been referring to the larger or smaller packets, I usually have both lying around if I have been...

Re: Calibration of a Hygrometer...would this work

Thanks for the brilliant insight.

I didn't realize we weren't having a serious discussion. I had no idea this was a banter thread...

Re: Calibration of a Hygrometer...would this work

I think you mean hygrometer. :D :r

I am actually salt test illiterate. I wish I was kidding, but I am not. After doing research for 10 years you would think I could follow a protocol, but I never...

Re: Calibration of a Hygrometer...would this work

The hygrometer kit actually works pretty well if you leave it unopen for the time is says to on the package. I once used it to calibrate 5-7 Western Digitals over a period of a week and they were all...

Re: Show your latest NC purchase III!

If you don't mind me asking, what do you wrap around the bottome of your cigars (inside the humidor)?

It might just be the picture, but that Monte looks really short, what size is that?

Re: San Fran

I agree with Bob - Slanted Door is good. Also near the Ferry Building.

Re: San Fran

No BART to Foster City. There is a Caltrain station somewhere near Foster City, but you would probably still need a cab. Where you headed in Foster City?

In terms of restaurants, if you are...

Re: Casa Fuente in Las Vegas. Color me unimpressed.

One of the few places you can smoke a cigar and have no one look at you in disgust. I love Casa Fuente. I order a drink, smoke my own cigars and no one bothers me. The waitresses are friendly and...

Re: 6x60s - are you a fan?

I really enjoy the Tatuaje Gran Cojonu which has been out for a while - well before the recent craze/trend.

I have a couple of other Pepin's in the 6x60 size but have not tried they yet.

Re: Gauging Interest in Another Fantasy Football League

I would even play in an 8 team league if we can get the interest in the next day or two. I have no problem combining, but I wanted to keep this to CCs only.

We can also go with a straight 5-6...

Gauging Interest in Another Fantasy Football League

I know we have a couple going in the Asylum already, but my other league fell through.

I am thinking a buy-in of 10 CCs (no NCs). We usually do mid-range cigars in the $4-10 range (no sale...

Re: Popped my ....

:tu :tu

Forgot to mention, I would try the Don Pepin Garcia and MyFather lines as well. For the Pepin's I like the Blue label and the Series JJ.

Re: Popped my ....

I believe the Padron's are Nicaraguan puros, I have never really noticed a huge difference between the naturals and the maduros.

If you like Padron's I would try the Illusiones or pretty much any...

Re: Show your latest NC purchase III!

They only sent me two as well, but they did not charge me shipping, so that is a plus. I probably would have look elsewhere for a third box if I knew I wasn't going to get three, but life goes on. I...

Re: Fresh Rolled Cigars?

Same experience for me. I consider a fresh roll something that was rolled right there or at least rolled within a couple of days.

I am not sure I would consider something I buy in a box as a fresh...

Re: Modern Warfare 3

I am using three guns these days.

ACR6.8 - I usually use silencer and the hybrid sight.

P90 - silencer + rapid fire (I am trying out different scopes, but I like rapid fire :D)

RSASS -...

Re: Seasoning with Boveda 84%... What target RH?

I know that is what everyone says, but if you are going to be using packets and your cigars are already properly humidified, I would probably say you are good.

I have seasoned a much larger...

Re: Box for the boss...

Is your boss a cigar smoker? :r

Do they have a humidor? If not, I might go with something that comes in tubos.

I might go with Padrons, either a sampler or maybe a box of Londres or 2000/3000s...

Re: Modern Warfare 3

How does the portable radar work? I tried it a couple of times and I didn't see anything. I usually play HC, does it only work when the UAV is up?

I bought the new X32 with the variable...
