Re: Portland Cigar Cart?

Whoa! Maybe attach a keggerator and piggyback a BBQ smoker on the back of that thing, and I will have died and gone to heaven!

Re: Spiders tried to eat my face.

The creepy thing is, if that nest wasn't at the head of the cigar where you clipped it, you probably woulda smoked that badboy up and probably wouldn't have noticed.

"Hellllllllp Meeeeeee!!"

Re: Beginner Questions (Ask Them Here!)

What can you tell by pinching a cigar? Whether it's humidified or not? I've always been told that a well humidified cigar will have some give to it.

Also, I have heard that nicely aged cigars...

Re: Daily smoke

I think I'm a lot like some other brothers who've posted previously: I rarely smoke the same cigar twice in a row.

Although I've been known to smoke up a bunch of Cubaos in a short time.

Re: What beer or liquor are you drinking right now?

Dewer's with a splash of Amaretto on the rocks. I've heard it called a Godfather. Deceptively delicious.

Re: Anyone ever do this... make me feel better.

You ain't kidding! When I first started smoking cigars, my wife bought me my first humidor and some crappy Thompson Iguanas (it was the thought that counted).

Anyway, I've moved four times over...

Re: What cigar did you smoke today IV?

Smoking a Fausto toro. It's kicking quite a bit, but I'm loving it!

Re: What beers are you enjoying II?

Ahhh, you beat me to it! :r

Honestly, sometimes after mowing the lawn, nothing washes the taste of grass and pollen out my mouth better than chugging some High Life. Beats Anheuser Busch...

Re: How many sticks do u smoke in a day

Usually in the winter I go into hibernation and smoke maybe 2 a week, but since we've had a mild winter here in VA, I've been on a binge and smoke 1 or 2 daily, which is my summer average.

Re: Pairing cigars and a beverage... with a twist.

This sounds kind of nuts, but Dr. Pepper does it for me. Coke is also a favorite, with or without rum!

Don't mean to pry into your medical situation, and I'm definitely not a doctor, but alcohol...

Re: LFD Airbender

Only had one Airbender a while back and I wasn't impressed, but they are on my "revisit" list. I hate to disregard a cigar after only smoking one.

Re: Whats your "Go To" smokes?

My go-to's come and go (pun intended!)

Lately it's been the Undercrown. Whenever I reach into the humidor to smoke something, an UC jumps into my hand, and I figure, hey, if it wants to die a...

Re: What beer or liquor are you drinking right now?

Can't agree more! I think I've already gone through a case of this stuff. Glad that NB finally started distribution in here in VA!

Drinking a Sammy Adams Black Lager. S'ok, but especially good...

Re: La Sirena

I had one (the robusto size) when they first came out. I really liked it, very strong but flavorful, although IMO they were a little pricey when first released. I've heard so little about them...

Also, as if that link doesn't say it all, but according to many brothers I know that have gone, JDs place is absolutely phenomenal.

Re: Cigar Safari

Kevin tells me the same thing! I haven't had the opportunity yet, but he says everyone should do it at least once.

I'm just afraid that if I go, I won't come back!!

Re: What beer or liquor are you drinking right now?

Jack d'Or by Pretty Things in Westport, MA. It's labeled as an American Saison. Pretty good for such a small operation.

Re: Liga Privada Undercrown belicoso

I can't get enough of these! Haven't tried the beli yet, but so far the gran toro is my favorite size in this line hands down. Heck, even the 6x60 monster is great, once you get over the lock-jaw...
